Israel intercepts Gaza flotilla, defends against armed resistance

Israeli forces moved to enforce its naval blockade of the Gaza region today in an interdiction of the Gaza flotilla. The so-called Freedom Flotilla staffed by hundreds of extremists aboard six vessels was intercepted in a pre-dawn raid that resulted in the deaths of 15-20 radicals about the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara.
