Frustrated by a general inability to order the new phones, customers soon learned that their personal and private user, billing, and account data has been served up to random AT&T customers around the country. Through this gaping lapse in security, all personal information pertaining to a user account is revealed to an unrelated user, leaving AT&T customers vulnerable to identity theft and unwanted iPhone orders.
